A shared experimental platform
Our experimental facilities are part of SLICES-ITA, the Italian node of the ESFRI SLICES Research Infrastructure (SLICES-RI). They connect networking and computing resources for experiments across the IoT–edge–cloud continuum.
PNC Lab’s experimental activities focus on:
- Open and programmable post-5G networks.
- Edge computing, XR, and metaverse services.
- Connected vehicles and vehicular edge computing.
SLICES-RI supports reproducible experimental research through shared platforms, measurement, and benchmarking.
